Authors, Illustrators, Reading, Writing, and More on the Internet!
This resource list is always being revised--if you have recommendations to add or broken links to report,
please
email with your suggestions.

Tips and Tricks for online searching:

1.    If searching for an author or phrase, type the author’s name or phrase in quotes. For example, “Chris Van Allsburg” or "National Writing Project".

2.    If search for material on a specific book, type the title in quotes. For example, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”.

3.    Look on the back cover, inside flaps, front-matter, and back-matter of the book…

a.    Is there a publisher’s website listed?

b.    Does the copyright page include suggested subject headings, which might be useful when selecting novel themes?

c.    Is it a special edition with additional resources, readings, or other helpful material?

4.    Look at the author section of the book. Does it include a website for the author?

Please Note: The following sites have been reviewed, but all links within them
have not.  Remember, sites continually change, move, or become out-dated.  This is not a comprehensive list, but instead a beginning to help guide you. Internet addresses are current as of 06/07/07. Please use the email link at the bottom of the page to notify of any broken or outdated links.
